Prepare your property for rent

Step 1 - Prepare Your Rental Property

To rent your property quickly, for the highest price, you need to make sure your property is clean, organized and ready to show. First impressions are important, so attend to details before a tenant arrives to view your rental property.

Here are some things you can do to make a good first impression: Make sure lawn or grounds are well kept, pick up any loose garbage, clean your windows, carpeting, floors, appliances, cupboards, kitchens and bathrooms. Freshly paint your property’s interior and check doors, mailboxes and common areas. Replace burned out light bulbs and dirty blinds. Make your property shine, and review applications and check references carefully. For more information, review our landlord FAQ’s.
